Foreign educated nurses have been used for years to solve our nursing shortage in the US, but is this a sustainable solution as it creates a shortage of nurses in the workers’ home countries? Unfortunately, there is no simple solution to our nursing shortage that will continue to grow to 3.3 million nurses within this decade.
